Ben Morlock joined the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department in September 2014. He attended the Falls Church VFD/Fairfax VFD Fire School in the spring of 2015 where he earned Firefighter I, Firefighter II and Hazardous Materials Operations certification from the Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP).

In December of 2015, Ben obtained National Emergency Medical Service Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and became a certified EMT in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He completed VDFP certification programs for Emergency Vehicle Operation Class I, II and III in early 2016. He has also taken courses through the Federal Emergency Management Agency Emergency Management Institute.

Ben earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Michigan State University. He currently works in corporate communications for a global defense and aerospace company. Ben and his wife reside in Arlington, Va.
