Jarrod joined the department in 2012. Over the next few years, he earned certifications as a Firefighter, Hazardous Materials Operator, and Emergency Medical Technican Basic. As Lieutenant, Jarrod is responsible for assisting the senior officers with fire department operations and training events.

Jarrod currently resides in Arlington with his wife Alison.
