After certifying as an Emergency Medical Technician, Kim Klingler joined the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department (FCVFD) in 2007.

During her time with FCVFD, Kim has served alongside Arlington County Fire Department (ACFD) on Ambulance 102, has served as the Membership Director, and has made many appearances as Sparky – the FCVFD fire and life safety mascot.

Kim also serves Arlington as the Chair of the Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee (EPAC) and has been recognized as one of Arlington’s 40 Under 40.

For her day-job, Kim is a Director at the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

Kim is the daughter of a Coast Guard Officer and a transplant to Northern Virginia. Kim now calls Arlington home, where she resides with her two dogs, Scout and Koda.
