Description
Recruits began the day learning the proper techniques for using hand and power tools during ventilation operations. The class used an area in the Sisler's Stone yard to strike wood using hand tools and cut pallets with a chainsaw. After the basic tool skills were learned, the class utilized a roof simulator constructed by the B-shift at Station 6 to practice opening holes in a pitched roof.
