Frame Building Construction Drill

Description
Assistant Chief Evinger led a group of recruit firefighters through the interior of an unfinished frame residence in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The opportunity was used to familiarize members with the various components and terminology of a wood frame building. Personnel also reviewed how the load-bearing members may fail during a fire situation. Many thanks to Patrick Blake for arranging the trip with the property owner.
