Operation Santa Claus

Each year the volunteers decorate the reserve engine and drive Santa Claus around the Greater Falls Church area to visit residents. The event lasts from December 15 through December 23 and encompasses the entire City of Falls Church and other neighborhoods on the fringes of the City as time permits. During the trips, FCVFD members hand out candy canes and fire safety literature to citizens. Dog biscuits are also available for our four-legged friends who frequently come out to visit with Santa.
Many thanks to Captain Holder for his hard work coordinating this year's event. Thirty-two volunteers contributed over 200 hours to the project this year. |
