Caroline County Regional Fire School

The Caroline County Emergency Units Association, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Fire Programs, sponsors an annual regional training school. This year's school was held at Caroline County High School approximately 30 miles south of Fredericksburg.
Falls Church VFD members and equipment participated in several courses. Five members completed the Basic Pump Operations course using the Falls Church reserve engine. Four members completed the Fire Attack Essentials course. Two members completed the Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support course. Two members completed the Emergency Medical Technician refresher course.
One of the highlights of the weekend trip was the annual "steak feast" hosted by the Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department. Students and instructors were treated to a meal of steak, baked potato, cole slaw, and a variety of homemade desserts. |
