Arcola-Pleasant Valley VFD Fill

On January 27, 2007, seven Falls Church volunteers staffed a rescue engine, engine, and command unit at the Arcola Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department in Loudoun County. This allowed all members of the host company to enjoy their annual banquet and installation of officers that evening. Falls Church personnel provided coverage from 6pm to 6am until relieved by Loudoun County career staff.
In preparation for the fill, members visited the Arcola station to familiarize themselves with the tools, equipment, apparatus, and station. |
