Deputy Chief Schloss and Assistant Chief Evinger completed the 48-hour Virginia Department of Fire Programs certification for Driver/Operator for Pumping Apparatus Course in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The course was conducted over three weekends and included classroom and practical exercises. Topics ranged from types of apparatus and national standards to friction loss calculations and water supply development.
