FF-I/II Vehicle Rescue

Using a donated vehicle, the 2007 Firefighter I/II class practiced extrication skills in the parking lot at Station 6. The 8 hour class offered students an opportunity to learn basic extrication skills. Four hours of classroom discussion were followed by four hours of hands-on practice using the hydraulic rescue tools.
The class was led by Captain Steve Sisler with Assistant Chief Evinger, Deputy Chief Schloss, and Lieutenant McCarry assisting. EMT's Turner and Audet managed the rehab area throughout the afternoon to ensure students and teachers remained hydrated and healthy. |
