County Drill - Snow Chains

On a day that coincidentally saw the Washington area receive up to 5 inches of snow followed by ice, personnel from the FCVFD were joined by Cherrydale and Clarendon VFD members during a regularly scheduled drill to review the installation of both heavy chain and cable tire chains. Volunteer instructors were assisted by FF Marr and FF Goddard of the ACFD A-shift. Following the practical exercises, a review was conducted of key winter driving and personal preparedness concepts. |
