2008 Medic Unit

A new advanced life support ambulance is expected to be completed in late February 2008. The unit is replacing a 1997 ambulance and will run as Medic 106. The unit is a Medtec that was purchased through Singer Associates utilizing an Arlington County specification and bid price. The total cost of the vehicle will be approximately $225,000.
The final inspection trip was conducted on March 17, 2008 at the Medtec plant in Goshen, IN. Delivery is anticipated within 2 to 3 weeks following the final inspection. |
