Indoc XI - Ground Ladders

Recruits are taught the basic function and handling of fire service ground ladders during their indoctrination training. Recruits began their training using basic single ladders at low heights to maintain a factor of safety during the exercises. They received instruction on proper climbing techniques, placement of ladders, and uses.
Classes were held on March 13, 2008 at the Arlington County Fire Training Academy and March 15, 2008 at the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department Academy. Our organization would like to thank both agencies for the use of their facilities. |
