Deputy Chief McCarry orchestrated and supervised three scenarios using the facilities at the Arlington Fire Department Training Academy. The scenarios were an "inside" gas leak, house fire, and fire in a mid-rise commercial structure. Each included searching for victims and fire, advancing hoselines, and placing ground ladders. The mid-rise operation required advancing the highrise pack and operating from a leader line to the upper floors of the rappeling tower. |
