Basic Pump Operations Course

FCVFD Instructor Schloss, assisted by Captain Sisler and Assistant Chief Evinger, led this 16-hour course to educate firefighters on the basic skills and knowledge required to operate a fire department pumper. Topics included pump components and types, hydraulics principles, and scenario-based exercises. The class was conducted at the Fairfax County Fire Training Academy with students from Falls Church, Cherrydale, Arcola-Pleasant Valley, Colonial Heights, and Alexandria fire departments. |
