Indoctrination - Patient Packaging and Movement
The recruits were familiarized with the safe and proper methods for managing patient movement in the field. Each student was given the opportunity to work with the backboard, stair chair and reeves stretcher and were asked to carry a simulated patient up and down three flights of stairs to simulate real-world effort.
