The owner of the home at 5700 North 36th Street generously offered the property to the Arlington Fire Department for training purposes. Through contacts with ACFD Captain Bennett, FCVFD personnel were able to conduct a variety of skills reviews using the residence on the evening of October 19.
Skills performed included:
- vertical ventilation with power saws and hand tools
- overhaul of walls and ceilings
- self-rescue through interior and exterior walls
