Hazardous Materials Operations - Fall 2011

ACFD Captain Bennett and FCVFD Assistant Chief Fortner instructed the 40-hour course to teach personnel chemical identification, research methods, and defensive containment tactics for hazardous chemical releases. Classroom instruction was followed by three days of practical activities performing diking, damming, diverting, and decontamination techniques. The practical portion of the class was supported by the ACFD Hazardous Materials Team Support Unit and Sislers Stone. |
