Company Drill - Firefighting Skills

FCVFD personnel completed three skills stations to test various aspects of response readiness during the monthly training meeting. One station had firefighters simulate a response on an engine company and deploy a leader line to attack a distant fire. A second station required packaging and removal of a Rescue Randy mannequin with a fractured femur from a shallow creek bed. The third skill station placed firefighters into a zero-visiblity environment following a hoseline through a series of obstacles created on a playground. |
