Cub Scout Fire Safety Demonstration

On November 1st and 16th, 2001, local cub scout groups gathered at the Falls Church fire station to complete their training in fire safety. A total of approximately 160 children and many adults visited the fire station on the two evenings. Falls Church Volunteer firefighters, Arlington Volunteer Firefighters, and Arlington County career firefighters from the A and C-shifts participated. Scouts cycled through a variety activities including: Turnout Gear Relay, Ladderpipe Demonstration, Hoseline Operation, Station Tours, and Home Emergency Escape Planning. |
