9/11 Pentagon Observance Ceremony

On the first anniversary of the attack on the Pentagon, a ceremony was held to remember the victims, honor the heroes, and applaud the reconstruction efforts. The wing of the Pentagon that was destroyed by the hijacked airliner was completely rebuilt within one year of the attack. Falls Church VFD Chief Evinger attended the ceremony as an emergency responder and as a member of the team that helped reconstruct the building. Chief Evinger's employer, J.D. Long Masonry, performed the interior masonry work during the Phoenix Project.
