Work on Old Tom and Trailer

Steve Sisler, Paul Melnick, Bob Burke, and Pat Evinger worked for several hours at Bob Burke's home in Vienna to maintain Old Tom and to customize the new trailer. The trailer required installation of tie-down anchors in the floor to secure the antique fire engine during transport.
Bob Burke is a member of the Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire Department and has worked for several years assisting the Falls Church VFD in maintaining Old Tom. Bob's intimate knowledge of the mechanical workings of the Model T have proven invaluable on many occasions. |
