Firefighter I/II - Rescue
Recruits learn various methods for removing victims from a hazardous situation. Recruits were also required to practice search tactics and removal of victims under simulated fireground conditions. A zero-visibility environment was simulated by covering the recruits' facepieces with their protective hoods. This also allowed the instructors to have full visibility to monitor the students.
