EMT Clay Hamric of the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department receives the ACFRA 2001 EMT of the Year award. Clay has been an EMT for 12 years and has run hundreds of EMS calls during his career. During 2000, he ran more than 150 calls in 240 hours service on the Arlington County medic units and Arlington-Falls Church Volunteer Rescue Squad.
